With the advent of the internet and the latest and greatest "pre-launch" of the week, MLM Distributors are moving around and jumping ship like never before in an effort to "get in at the top" so to speak, and get rich quick.
The MLM industry has become obsessed with “timing”, “pre-launches”, and “the next big thing." The number of new people coming into MLM each year is now drastically out of proportion with the number of new company start ups.
Thousands of new MLM’s launch every year thanks to the internet. You can literally start your own company from your bedroom if you want.
But there are only so many people to go around.
Welcome to the world of the 'Pre-Launch.' A company’s only chance to catch the attention of networkers, and steer them away from their current opportunity with the promise of "getting in at the top" or “getting in on the ground floor.”
And before you know it, the game starts all over again. This time around a company promises to be the biggest and best with their new patented super formula that will change the world.
Networkers inevitably flock to it by the ten’s of thousands trying to, once again, “get in at the top”.
And if they don’t, it doesn’t matter because another shiny new MLM will launch in about 9-12 months, and when it does, and the music stops, the people at the bottom scramble to find their seat in the chain, destroying their old company from the bottom up in the process.
This has resulted in a vicious cat fight between these companies over a dwindling supply of warm bodies, complete with name calling, back-stabbing, and an endless supply of lawsuits.
Its draining just to read. Unfortunately this will not change anytime soon. Information is too readily available and puts a down line, that you technically don't even own, in major jeopardy.
So what can you do about it?
Well, you can continue to go on at this pace and build a MLM down line but the risks far outweigh the benefits these days based on the above alarming trends.
I know thats a painful pill to swallow but we all have to swallow it unless we think the internet is suddenly going away any time soon.
Take a quick look around. Ever notice that some of the biggest and most respected names in the entire MLM industry of years past aren't even in the industry anymore?
Interesting, huh?
They are now consultants and coaches to the MLM industry and marketing "how to" information products about how to achieve success in the industry.
These guys and gals are smart. They know whats going on. They are successfully packaging their names and selling their successful experiences because building a MLM down line no longer appeals to them like it once did.
Heres the bottom line:
Many of these industry experts, in addition to their consulting and coaching services, are quietly ending up at what experts call 'Top Tier' Direct Sales companies. Not MLM distributorships.
They've been there, done that.
If the MLM business model was as solid and sustainable as it was in years past then thats where they would be.
Pretty logical right?
They have huge, loyal followings. If these industry titans joined a new MLM company tomorrow they would only need to make a few phone calls and send out a few e-mails and they could easily have a down line of 5000 people in a matter of months. Period.
So why don't they just do that then?
By now it should be clear.
